Not because we want to feel bigger than them, but because there's just so many early steps you need to absorb before you can even understand why you would want a script in the first place.īack on topic: I think a clear "beginner's forum" is mandatory. The real problem is that you're getting questions which are like: "I don't want to look at the tutorials, just gimmie the script" and this rightfully pisses everyone off who did go through the tuts.

When I was a kid, 8 bit computers would probably not be able to handle this forum, let alone Unity, and so "doing it the hard way" is natural to me. These guys are the future of the game industry.
